Ripe strawberry - Cranberry - Cherry

Bikicki’s vineyards are located in Banostor in the ancient wine region of Fruška Gora, facing the Danube River on the edge of Fruška Gora national park. Owner Đorđe works together with technologist Oszkár Maurer and grower Jelena Burmudžija to produce incredible wines of character and clarity that truly express the terroir, fermented exclusively on natural yeasts and without additional intervention in the cellar. 

This sparkling natural rosé wine is made from organic Pinot Noir, aged in bottle for two years and disgorged. Since the sediment has been removed, the primary aromas are complex rather than fermentative with vibrant smooth bubbles and fruit aromas of cherries, raspberries and rosehip.

Serve ice cold straight from the fridge and open slowly!

Notes from the winemaker: “Pink sparkling wine the colour of ripe strawberries. The fragrance evokes an abundance of ripe strawberries, chokeberries and dark June cherries, followed by notes of blooming peony and Mediterranean herbs, and a noble tone of aging on a yeast precipitate brought by brioche and homemade yellow patisserie. Lively bubbles, vibrant freshness and plenty of fruity juiciness in the mouth invite you to take a new sip. The fruity taste of red currants, cranberries and cherries stays on the palate for a long time, with fine notes of biscuits and a bit of minerality. Playful, but structural and complex wine with a constant and deep taste.”
