AHES Helps African communities recognize, preserve, and explore our shared heritage – in all the places where the past meets the present. We are passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working environment for all our staff and members or Clients.
Over the past few months, African Heritage and Employment Services (AHES) has successfully served over 1,200 clients seeking employment assistance. The majority of these clients were refugees who recently arrived in the country. The dedicated team of case managers at AHES played a crucial role in helping them secure their first jobs.
In addition to refugees, AHES also supported asylum seekers and low-income families by providing resource referrals, skill training, interview preparation, and breaking down barriers to employment. The organization assisted clients with crafting resumes and cover letters, preparing them for successful resettlement, and helping them achieve their dreams in America, ultimately leading to financial stability.
AHES continues to be a vital resource for those navigating the challenges of starting anew in a foreign country.
