Genmaicha (Loose Leaf Green Tea). Taste & Ingredients

• About: starting it’s historic journey as Poor Man’s Tea or People’s Tea, the pickers of the tea would “cut” the tea with toasted brown rice to make the tea go further. Today it is drunk in celebration and has a delicious savoury and nutty flavour. With a smooth umami taste balanced with fresh Green Tea notes, this Japanese Classic is a hidden gem waiting to become a cupboard staple. Toasted Brown Rice lends this brew a rich nutty flavour, while the base of Japanese Sencha lightens the blend to a refreshing and easy to drink cup. Milk Oolong (Loose Leaf Oolong Tea). Taste & Ingredients

• About: from a cooperative in the Fujian Mountains, the care and quality of processing creates a tea like no other. Light and sweet, naturally low in caffeine and high in antioxidants, this tea savours all the benefits of a green tea, but with a unique and endlessly drinkable flavour. Often likened to have a ‘milky’ flavour, this blend is completely natural and contains no milk or dairy and should be drunk black. With leaves hand-picked following the first frosts, this lends the leaves a natural sweetness; like other oolongs, it's leaves are then allowed to partially oxidise, next hand-rolled and then roasted ahead of steeping. This blend is fantastic for all levels of tea drinking and is a great alternative for coffee drinkers looking for a bean-to-tea replacement
