The Everpure H-300-HSD cartridge serves as the designated replacement filter for the H-300-HSD home water filtration system. Utilizing specialized Micro-Pure® media, it effectively filters out common impurities and particles as small as 0.5 microns—such as Cryptosporidium cysts—ensuring clean, fresh-tasting water. It also contains a scale inhibitor to help prevent mineral deposits in appliances that use water. The pleated design enhances filtration by targeting substances like silt, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), trihalomethanes (THMs), lead, chlorine (taste and odor), mold, algae, and limescale. To inhibit bacterial growth within the filter and reduce clogging, a bacteriostatic agent is included. For optimal performance and water quality, the filter should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, once the 300-gallon capacity is reached, or if the water flow slows noticeably.

Important Note: The H-300-HSD model (HSD = High Silt Density) is specially engineered to filter higher amounts of silt. For standard filtration needs, most users are better suited with the Everpure H-300 cartridge.
