Gemstone Information

Larimar is a sea green stone, with gentle blue and white veins and inclusions flowing throughout it's surface, making each stone unique from the next.

Larimar's name calls back to it's Spanish heritage, half coming from of the discoverer's daughters name, 'Larissa', and the rest from the Spanish word for sea, 'mar'.

Larimar is unique to the Dominican Republic, and is sometimes referred to as "Stefilia's Stone" in other cultures.
