The bilingual title of the album both reflects that this album is a tribute to rural Norway and refers to the ongoing import of hits from the USA. Under the direction of conductor Per Oddvar Hildre, the Norwegian Chamber Choir has released this album in collaboration with the campaign “New Life for Rural Life”. Good-natured and scathing lyrics by Geirr Lystrup.
