This is cool, pure paisley bliss...in a dress!

A lovely example of a fancier style day dress from the late 50's to early 1960's, this number has a sheath style silhouette. Made from a lightweight, slubbed silk fabric, the paisley print is a mix of cool blue tones, with a touch of silvery grey. It features a rounded collar, short sleeves with gusseted armscye, and a wonderful gathered, self-fabric waist detail. There is a very lightweight lining throughout, made of a blue silk. The center back has a metal zipper and hook + eye closure. The overall condition is excellent, with only two small flaws to note: two of the tiny metal teeth are missing from the zipper (however it still closes and opens smoothly -use some caution) and a small repair to the top, center front of skirt (see photographs for full details). Only label reads 'Paul Brook, London, Size 12, All Silk'.
