Pointy white flowers with soft pink and yellow centers reach to the sky.  They rest upon large vivid green leaves, keeping them afloat.  Dark slate colored water laps at the leaves, pushing them up and down with tiny waves from boats.  

Like polka dots along the shore, they spread out into the lake creeping out as far as they can, until the marshy bottom drops down making way for depths of fresh water and fish.
