La Senda La Barbacana is a wine that faithfully reflects the tradition and character of Bierzo. This wine comes from a singular vineyard over 100 years old, planted in soils rich in slate, quartz and iron, at an altitude of 650 metres.

The vineyard's location, on the western edge of Bierzo, close to alicia, offers an optimal microclimate that contributes to the quality of the grapes. 

This vineyard is situated in front of a 13th century castle and over an old Roman mine, which adds a historical and mineral dimension to the personality of the wine.
