The JT Sprockets Twinstar range of Hybrid Steel/ Aluminium sprockets are made from two separate materials to provide lightness in weight, long life and enhanced power transfer in even the hardest race environments. The outer ring is made from JT's high-carbon C49 steel blend (as used in their regular steel sprocket range). This steel has been tempered using JT’s heat induction technology to achieve material hardness that last up to 6 times longer than the best aluminium sprockets.

The inner hub is made from lightweight aviation-grade Ergal 7075-T6 aluminium, the same grade as used on the JT RaceLite range of aluminium alloy sprockets. Precision made using state of the art laser cutting and CNC machining resulting in a lightweight race proven design.

The heart of JT Sprockets and their durability, is the material used and the accuracy of the machining process. Every JT sprocket is made the right way, by hobbing, machining and drilling. This is the only way to achieve the closest tolerances and the best tooth profiles.
