Hermann Oak makes some of the finest natural vegtan leathers available. At 9-10oz thick it's formidable but not cumbersome, and it will develop a gorgeous patina over time with use! This has been a fan favorite leather for many years, it is akin to a fresh canvas, ready for you to leave your mark on it.

Though I use the highest grade of leather from Hermann Oak, there may be scarring or blemishes on the leather. These types of marks are just part of the *wabi-sabi nature of this type of leather and will contribute to your patina journey.

Pair with my Japanese made Patented Double Prong or the original 200+ year old Single Prong Quick Release Buckle in any finish.

All quick release belts are made with teardrop holes, which besides the aesthetic difference, will allow the buckle to lie slightly more flat than a round hole, due to the oblong shape of the hole. Hardware will be secured with Pigeon Tree branded rivets for the brass option, while black nickel will be stitched with tonal thread, and nickel will be secured with nickel Chicago screws.
