Welcome to The Dyeing Table!

Every year I submerge myself in indigo, metaphorically and physically. With my indigo work now taking place only once a year, I find myself hyper-fixating on the craft and dyeing many, many pieces over a relatively short period of time. All of these pieces grace my dyeing table and leave their mark.

When preparing to dye, the first thing I do is line my table with plastic wrap and then top it with a sheet of brown kraft paper. Why it hasn't occurred to me sooner to frame these pieces, I really can't say, but I'm so glad that I eventually got there.

These were taken straight off my dyeing table. Number 3 even has a remnant of tape.

This is a series of 3, each one numbered and signed on the back. On the front I have stamped my signature pigeon on the mat on the bottom right. Includes hardware to hang on a wall.

Every year I will release a new series, but there are no guarantees that the size, quantity, or framing style will be at all the same, the only thing that is certain is that they will always be extremely limited and truly one of a kind.

These pieces are a piece of me! Indigo has been a huge part of Pigeon Tree since its first inception almost 9 years ago. Indigo is in my veins, and pumps through my heart. You own my indigo dyed leather pieces, now take a piece of my dyeing table home!
