Twenty-two botanicals and it feels like every one of them is important.

The Kimerud Distillery is a small-shop craft operation located on the family farm just outside of Oslo, Norway. They started operations in 2014 and Gin was their first product — distilled from potatoes and infused with botanicals harvested from the their farm. The operation remains small, but they have expanded their products to include a second “Wild Grade Gin,” an Aquavit, and Raspberry Elixir which is akin to a Sloe Gin in texture and flavor.

Their core product — Kimerud Small Batch Distilled Gin — is making waves throughout the Gin-loving world. In addition to their other accolades, just this year they took home the Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017. It is crafted with care… and 22 hand-picked botanicals, including juniper, coriander, ginger root, mint, angelica, citrus zest and — surprisingly — walnuts.
