Parasound Halo Series A 51 Power Amplifier | 400W x 5 Channels

The Parasound Halo A 51 is a five-channel power amplifier built for high-performance home theater systems requiring substantial power across all channels simultaneously. Fitted in a 4U chassis measuring 17.25 by 5.25 by 20 inches and weighing 55 lbs net, it outputs 180 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 255 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms with all five channels driven. It is well suited to anchor a surround sound system around demanding multi-channel speaker arrays.

The amplifier supplies 45 amps peak current per channel and maintains total harmonic distortion at 0.05 percent RMS continuous across the full audio band. Frequency response extends from 5 Hz to 100 kHz within 3 dB. Signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 112 dB IHF A-weighted. Both balanced XLR and unbalanced inputs are accepted with a 29 dB gain stage.
