Flowing out from ogee filled streams,
Balliwud, how many ranis dreams,
did you appear in before coming to me?
My imagination travels,
waiting for your mysteries to unravel.
As I daydream visions grow stronger,
while I gaze upon you and ponder,
would shimmer and gleam on the silver screen,
as you do on the tree's twinkling greens?
Balliwud, shining drop of fantasy and wonder,
my mind is star struck and happily wanders,
to exotic sights and scenes,
between the mountains, deserts and the seven seas,
to far away brightly lit marquees.
All places where you might have been,
before your reincarnation and coming to me,
as a patterned ornament to trim my tree.
