Breville Espresso Machine Pressure Hose Repair Kit

Aftermarket repair kit. 

Replace your damaged, brittle or leaking internal hoses and restore proper pressure to your Breville coffee machine.

This kit suits most Breville espresso machines including:

• Barista Express (BES870 / BES875)

• Dual Boiler (BES920)

• Oracle (BES980 / BES990)

• And many other Breville models using internal PTFE pressure lines

Why Replace The Hose?

Over time, factory hoses can:

• Harden from repeated heat cycling

• Crack or leak under pressure

• Fail at the ferrule connection

Replacing worn tubing restores reliability and helps prevent internal water damage.

Installation Instructions

1. Cut The Tube Cleanly
   Cut the PTFE tubing to your required length using a sharp cutter.
   A straight, clean cut ensures proper sealing and compression.
   We stock PTFE tube cutters in our store for best results.

2. Position The Brass Ferrule
   Slide the brass ferrule onto the tube and position it approximately 4mm from the end (shoulder to tube end).
   Refer to photos and compare with your original hose to confirm correct placement.

3. Insert The Stainless Steel Support Insert
   Push the stainless steel insert fully into the end of the PTFE tube.
   The insert is intentionally oversized relative to the internal diameter of the tube to create a compression interference fit.
   This prevents the hose from collapsing or pulling out under pressure.

4. Installing The Insert (Tip)
   The insert requires firm pressure to seat correctly.
   In our workshop, we use a hydraulic brake hose needle vice to install these efficiently.
   If you are servicing multiple machines, this tool makes the job significantly easier.
   We have suitable tools available in our store.

5. Fit A Fresh O-Ring
   Always use a new O-ring.
   Do not insert the tube into a fitting that already has an O-ring installed, as this can pinch or damage it.
   Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a small amount of food-safe silicone grease before installation to improve sealing and prevent damage.

6. Install The Retaining Clip
   Once seated correctly, reinstall the retaining clip to secure the connection.
