Perfect digital video, real time control
Employing a spatially-lossless encoding mechanism alongside 1:1 pixel mapping, the ADDERLink INFINITY (ALIF) 2122 ensures flawless replication of pixels and precise color representation in video playback, devoid of any visual distortions. The digital video content remains unchanged from the moment it is transmitted from the remote computer to when it is received.

Single CATx cable or fiber with immunity from interference
Employing conventional IP technology provides the flexibility to opt for either a single structured cable (CATx) or a fiber connection, ensuring the establishment of dependable connections free from any interference.

Extension distances
The extension distance is not confined to just a 100m/328ft cable length; it can be prolonged by incorporating a 1GbE network device to achieve an extra 100m/328ft. The units come equipped with SFP cages that can accommodate fiber optic transceivers, allowing for significantly larger extension distances of up to 20km/12mi.

Support for Mac Pro® (Dithered Video)
Dithering is a technique employed by certain graphics cards to create the illusion of a greater color depth than what is truly present. However, this process can lead to a notable increase in the standard video data rates. To address this issue, the ALIF2122 TX incorporates a unique feature known as Magic Eye, which enables dithering without compromising the overall performance of the link.

USB2.0 with class control
The system allows for the connection of various USB devices, including mouse and keyboard, graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks, and 3D explorers, as well as mass storage devices. In situations where security is a top priority, the system offers the option to disable non-HID devices, eliminating the need to physically block USB ports in order to prevent the use of mass storage devices.

EDID management
The implementation of intelligent EDID management enables the computer to receive accurate information about the monitor's true characteristics. As a result, the video display is optimized and does not require any further configuration, ensuring a seamless viewing experience.
