Style THELMAMITTENS is a knitwear pattern instructions. The pattern comes in a PDF file, and can be downloaded and printed from the computer.

The pattern has 8 different prints : Flame, Groovie, Zebra, Leopard, Snake, Tattoo, Giraffe & Tribal

Materials

Hand-dyed Fine Organic Merino (held together with Kid Silk Mohair throughout) 100% organic merino wool, high twist. Approx. 365 m / 100 g per skein. A wonderfully soft base to work with.

Fine Organic :

Color 1: 23 (25) g

Color 2: 23 (25) g

Hand-dyed Kid Silk Mohair 72% kid mohair / 28% silk singles. Lightweight, luxurious, super soft, and fantastic to work with. Approx. 420 m / 50 g per skein.

Kid Silk Mohair:

Color 1: 13 (14) g

Color 2: 13 (14) g

Needles & Notions

5 x DPNs 4 mm & 4.5 mm (or circular needle for magic loop)

2 removable stitch markers

3 stitch markers

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Safety pin or keeping cord for resting stitches

Crochet hook size 4 mm (optional, for fringes)

Tension Gauge Sample

Always check your tension before starting.

Cast on 18 sts (total 36 sts), holding Fine Organic and Kid Silk Mohair together. Work 19 rows in double knitting using 4.5 mm needles to achieve 10 x 10 cm.

If too tight, switch to larger needles.

If too loose, switch to smaller needles.
