A wonderful variant of UV White Satin featuring a slightly less opaque color and slightly more dispersed satin content. This Icy version gives a little more room for light to pass through and illuminate the satin effect.  This color likes to be worked cold and in a more oxidizing flame. Fantastic results from implosions and encasement.

Icy White Satin enjoys a layer of clear encasement, thin or thick, to maximize and enhance the satin effects. This also may help prevent surface boiling or scuzzing, though it is not necessary. 

Always preheat tubing in kiln to prevent thermal shock.
