As much as we love the ruggedness of the metal frame, it does get uncomfortable doing those long rucks, especially when you are haulin' decent weight. This is the answer, a pad that attaches directly to the interior of the frame. The pad has a quick install, utilizing a hook & loop strap design that makes removal for washing a breeze! The pad also doubles as a paperwork storage area, being that it is flat and can easily conceal important documents. The pad is "water resistant" being made out of 1000D nylon cordura, more safe than the top lid document pocket!
