It’s always a welcoming sight- looking out my window- at the feathery friends that stop to eat here at the homestead.   I thought I’d capture some of it for you to enjoy and stitch, as the snow falls this year and winter becomes.  I do hope you enjoy!!

Stitched 1 over 2 on a Vintage Country Mocha Linen, 36 count, this little backyard winter festival of Snow Birds was stitched.  Basic Cross Stitches were used throughout, and it was charted for DMC threads- however- I used mostly Gentle Arts.  Your fun project- your fun thread and linen choices...

Please note!!!  I don’t wish for anyone to “adapt” this cross stitch pattern into any other pattern on their own, as it is my design and I will be releasing future patterns using this, including a punch needle design and possible a hooked rug pattern.  However- if you wish to stitch this using Lori Brechlin’s ( Notforgotten Farm ) way of doing Un-Counted cross stitch- you definitely may.  If you’ve any questions regarding this- please do let me know….
