Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman star in this crime thriller directed by David Fincher. Veteran homicide detective William Somerset (Freeman) has just seven days left until his retirement when he is paired with his brash replacement David Mills (Pitt). As the pair investigate the murder of a man who was force-fed until he burst, they are then faced with another murder involving a man forced to cut one pound of flesh from his own body, causing Somerset to speculate that they are dealing with a serial killer who is using the seven deadly sins as a blueprint for his crimes.

As the investigation continues, the case takes a shockingly personal turn. The cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey and Richard Roundtree.
