This vintage evening ensemble is made in the tradition of all the gorgeous beadwork produced out of India through the 1980s. The sophisticated, geometric design of the beading on this outfit really sets it apart. Although the brand label is "Candlelight," the manufacturer is Jainson's International, a Los Angeles based apparel house founded in 1985. This jacket dress must have been one of their earliest designs. The jacket is black silk chiffon that snaps up the front. The skirt has a side zipper but also has elastic in back, so sizing is variable. Both pieces are lined in black rayon, and both pieces are labeled size L. Unfortunately, the shape doesn't present very well on our size 6 mannequin but will look proper on someone in the 10-12 size range. Please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding size.

JACKET MEASUREMENTS
- Shoulder width is 18. 5"
- Chest is about 44"
- Sleeve length is 24"
- Length is 23. 5" down center back.

SKIRT MEASUREMENTS
- Partially elastic waist is 30" unstretched.
- Hips measure about 43" at 8" below waist.
- Length is 29"

CONDITION
The structure of both pieces is excellent. We found very little and inconspicuous bead loss.
