Garnet is the birthstone of January, but the deep red stone is so rich and versatile that I wouldn't blame anyone for adopting it. These vintage earclips features three rows on garnets, the center being more prominent. The metal is gold vermeil (sterling silver plated with a substantial amount of gold) which means there is no base metal and it will retain its gold color. These earrings can be worn on the lobe, or higher on  the cartilage. I often find that vintage clip-on earrings are MUCH more comfortable than modern clip-ons, and these are the perfect example, as they're very comfortable to wear and don't pinch, yet they stay put. Measures approximately .5" in length.
