Correct Placement of Habibat:

• Choose a suitable location for the bird box where it will receive maximum sunlight
• In the northern hemisphere, position the bird box on southerly aspects/orientation (south, south-west and south-east)
• Position the bird box a minimum of 2 meters above the ground, but preferably 5 to 7 meters
• Avoid placing the bird box above windows, doors, and wall climbing plants to reduce the likelihood of predation by cats
• A position near the eaves or gable apex of the property is preferable for placement of the bird box.
