A record of a special subscription concert that marks the first step toward resumption of activities! The spread of the new coronavirus had a major impact on the Bunkyo University Symphonic Band, which was forced to suspend its activities for a year and a half, cancelling concerts and not participating in competitions for two years in a row. Even at such a low point, many new members joined the club and continued to wait for the day when it would resume its activities. The 44th Regular Concert, held for the first time in two years, was broadcast live around the world, and left many brass band fans in awe. This album includes the live performance of the 44th Regular Concert, as well as Masamichi Amano's "The Girl of Orleans" (all premiered versions), which was first performed at the 2019 Summer Concert. Furthermore, the booklet includes special interviews with Permanent Conductor Seiji Sagawa and the 42nd Student Conductor Hiroto Imai. The history and identity of the Bunkyo University sound that is now being revealed is of great interest to brass band fans. CAFUA Records
