WHEN WE DANCE
To me, dancing alone feels like having a conversation with someone in my mind; it’s really a conversation of one. It’s perfect in the sense that the other person is not presenting any obstacles, but it’s not like having company. Real company is another person being present, and we have to adapt to their presence, their pace, their rhythm, their clumsiness, and they have to adapt to ours. It’s not perfect, but perhaps it is.
