  • The Normandy landings were the landing operations and associated airborne operations on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II. This was an immensely important day in world history, as it was the largest seaborne military invasion in history, laying the foundation for Allied victory on the Western front. The Canadians were tasked with liberating Juno beach, and it proved to be a fierce battle, as it was captured over a month later
  • Very good condition; passes have visible creasing throughout as well as some notable water staining around the edges and discolouration on the backs. The photos are in great condition with some visible discolouration on the back as well as a light crease along the bottom edge. Very light discolouration along the top edge. No rips or tears
