The current generation's top classical guitarist, Park Kyuhi, has been based in Korea since the Corona Disaster, and her popularity has been ignited by her YouTube channel in Korea. This is a live recording of a recital held in Korea last December. Park said, "I chose the guitar pieces that I am currently attracted to." The program for this recital was a collection of pieces that he wanted to perform only on stage, and this live recording shows Park's current position in the field. A performance of this program is scheduled for April 14 at Kioi Hall in Tokyo, immediately following its release. Park Kyuhi grew up in Japan and Korea, and began playing guitar at the age of 3 in Yokohama. After studying at the Tokyo College of Music, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2014, and graduated summa cum laude from the Alicante Classical Guitar Master Course in 2016.In 2005, she participated in an opera performance conducted by Seiji Ozawa, won the first prize and audience prize at the Heinzberg International Guitar Competition in 2007, the second prize (without first prize) at the Koblenz International Guitar Competition in 2008, the first prize at the "Guitar Spring 2008" in Belgium (the first Asian and female in the competition's history), the first prize at the Liechtenstein International Guitar Competition, the first prize and audience prize at the Alhambra International Guitar Competition in 2012, and the first prize at the Jan Edmund Jurkowski Memorial Guitar Competition 2014 in Poland. She won the first prize at the International Guitar Competition in Liechtenstein, the first prize and audience prize at the Alhambra International Guitar Competition in 2012, and the first prize at the Jan Edmund Jurkowski Memorial Guitar Competition in Poland in 2014. He has performed with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the Yomiuri Symphony Orchestra, and many other orchestras. His recordings include "Sueño - Dream", "Sonata Noir" (Fontec), "Journey in Spain", "Last Tremolo", "Saudade - Brazilian Guitar Works", "FAVORITE SELECTION" and "Harmonia - Harmonia" (Nippon Columbia) releases. All of them were exceptional hits, and many of them were specially selected by Record Geijutsu magazine.In 2020, he produced his first self-produced album "Le Depart" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his debut, which won the 14th CD Shop Grand Prize 2022, Classic Award. He has been invited to guitar festivals in Europe, the U.S., Korea, Taiwan, and other countries, and is a favorite guitarist of guitarist Daniel Frederiche, who passed away in November 2020.
