Mission Cholesterol Monitoring Test Strips are test devices for a complete lipid panel using whole blood, serum or plasma. To perform a cholesterol or lipid test, you will need a Cholesterol monitoring device into which the test strips are simply inserted which comes into contact with a small drop of blood from your finger. After a few moments you get a precise test result for the laboratory. Total Cholesterol is the total amount of cholesterol in blood. HDL (Good) Cholesterol reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) by carrying LDL away from the blood stream for disposal.
