Joe Henry's 2023 album, All The Eye Can See, was self-recorded at Joe Henry's home, mainly in the middle of the global lockdown. Henry says, "When I began this process, I knew that under the circumstances I would make the most painstaking album of my career. In fact, in many ways, we have made the most expansive record to date." More than 20 musicians participated in this album. Among them are his trusted longtime musical colleagues and friends, including Levon Henry on saxophone and clarinet, David Piltch on bass, Patrick Warren on piano and keyboards, and John Smith on acoustic guitar.
