Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula SOUND TOURS Series Vol. 3! Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula" will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its broadcast in 2021. The first "SOUND TOURS" series release project "ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK COLLECTION BOX SET" has been released so far, and the second project is the first new song in 20 years, "Overdriving! (sung by Hayato Kazami) as the official theme song of the series. The next theme song, "Never Ever Give Up! The song is sung by Breed Kaga (CV: Toshihiko Seki), one of the most popular characters in the series, following the main character, Hayato Kazami (CV: Junichi Kanemaru). In addition to the single (Maxi CD), the limited first pressing includes a special "SOUND TOURS 2021 OFFICIAL CALENDAR" featuring the original CD jacket design.The production cast is the same as the previous "Overdriving! The music was supervised by director Mitsuo Fukuda, lyrics by acane_madder, and composed and sound-produced by Katsutoshi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE). The song is an emotional depiction of Hayato Kazami's older brother and rival throughout the series, Breed Kaga, as he furiously races through the circuit as an answer song to his own rival. The coupling includes two songs from Breed Kaga's single "FAITH / The Price of a Smile," released in 1993. The CD jacket illustration is by Hirokazu Hisayuki (character designer for "Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula SAGA" and "Neon Genesis GPX Cyber Formula SIN"). The visuals are impressive, with a taste that matches the music and character images.
