The Ronettes
Description:
The Ronettes are best known for their big hit (#2 in the U.S.) with Phil Spector's classic song "Be My Baby," one of Phil Spector's best-known songs. This album contains all the A-sides of singles released by the Ronettes between 1963 and 1966 when they were with Philes, as well as "Why Don't They Let Us Fall In Love" and "So Young," which were released under Veronica's solo name on Phil Spector Records, Philes' sub-label. and "I Can Hear Music" (first time on CD), which was a single by Philes but was produced by Jeff Barry and therefore not released on CD for many years, and "Paradise" and "I Wish I Never Saw the Sunshine" and "Futari no Taiyo" (all previously unreleased from the Philes era), and the A&M single "Tsumetai Koi", which was included on "Rare Masters" released in 1976, are literally the best of the bunch.
