Bad Stream
Description:
New release from German electro & industrial treasure Bad Stream! The long-awaited new album by German electro & industrial treasures Bad Stream. This is a new masterpiece that constructs a weightless sonic paradise that far transcends a paradise of peachy sound in between post-classical, new age, and spiritual jazz. Bad Stream is the solo project of Martin Steer, guitarist/singer/songwriter of the popular Berlin band = Frittenbude, a regular on the German national charts. His long-awaited new album "Sonic Healing" follows his 2018 solo debut "Bad Stream". The previous album was a genre-defying electro-rock hybrid that crosses the German sound of No Twist with a disturbing industrial mood reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails, but this time, as the title suggests, it is loaded with healing elements and completely dissociates itself from both dance and rock music. This time, as the title suggests, the album is full of healing elements and pioneers a new innovation in a pure new age mode that completely breaks free from both dance and rock music. The heavenly electro-acoustic sound of strings, piano, saxophone, bassoon, guitar loops and choruses are skillfully layered to create a sonic paradise that far transcends the boundaries of spiritual jazz, post-classical, ambient and electronica. The album consists of 5 songs, 38 minutes long. Total length: 5 tracks, 38 minutes. Guests on this album include Underpreche (vocals), who has also released music on Optimo Music, and Uli Kempendorff (saxophone) of ECM's up-and-coming Julia Fuhrman Quartet.
