Our new Through-Hole LEDs offer an economical way to bring engineering concepts and practice into the classroom. Custom-cut LED legs make prototyping and polarity identification easy. The Through-Hole LED Variety MegaPack contains 240 LEDs (in 6 different colors).

About this item

• Custom-cut LED legs improve identification of positive and negative. Bend LED legs out to lay flat in your paper circuit project
• Unlike our Launchpad LEDs and Circuit Sticker LEDs, Through-Hole LEDs do not have built in resistors. 
  • Resistor Stickers, purchased separately, work with Through-Hole LEDs to teach electrical resistance and voltage concepts.

POWER and CONNECTOR NOT INCLUDED 
To light up these LEDs, you'll also need a power source and connector, which are sold separately. 

POWER up with a Chibitronics Launchpad Battery. Or choose a power source that best fits your project. Also compatible with 3 volt coin cell batteries and any 3V to 5V power source, including AA and AAA battery 4.5V power packs and 5V USB power. 

CONNECT to power source with Conductive Fabric Tape Spool or Conductive Fabric Strips. Also compatible with Conductive Copper Tape.
