She studied at the Vienna Conservatory of Music and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow under such distinguished pianists as Wilsalase and Kemp. At the age of 17, he took part in the Vienna Beethoven International Piano Competition and became the youngest winner. He has been teaching at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna for more than 30 years, where he has trained many young pianists as an excellent teacher. On this new album, he performs works by Scriabin and Schubert. Scriabin's preludes are in the tradition of Chopin, and Schubert's sonatas from his later years. From these two works, which at first glance seem to have completely different personalities, she draws out overflowing poetic sentiments, dreams, and feelings of despair one after another. Naxos Japan
