BILL CALLAHAN - Apocalypse LPShort and sweet and beautifully understated. This album picks up the same wistful, unimposing threads of dusty Americana as Smog's A River Ain't Too Much To Love and runs with them in some very pleasing ways. The frequent use of piano is a wonderful addition to Callahan's usually guitar centric sound, with it working to especially well on closing track "One Fine Morning".
