Also now available is the music video for "Cyr," with its striking black-and-white visuals! The video, directed by Linda Strawberry, was shot remotely during lockdowns in Chicago and Los Angeles. Strawberry says, "It represents a gothic nightmare of repressed emotions, and I created it to provide a temporary escape from the black cloud of emotion that has overtaken us all this year with its artistic visuals. This dark and seductive video was also shot with social distance," she explains of the video. Other details of the album have yet to be revealed, but the most exciting news for fans is that the album is being produced by original members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlain, along with longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. The album is being produced with longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder.The five-episode animated series "In Ashes," written by Billy Corgan and featuring songs from the album, has also been released on their official YouTube channel with "As The Crow Flies" (episode 1) and "Inspirations, Aspirations" (episode 2).
