This is hands-down the most underrated hardcore full-length ever. Perhaps the best Midwest hardcore LP, Die Kreuzen's debut album is a total freak-out of fast, oddly arranged songs and maniacal vocals. With the exception of Siege, no US band has come close to the demented, raw ferocity of Dan Kubinski. He sounds like a demon from another planet. The music has an edge to it to, at times riffing it up Minor Threat style, other times more choppy and bass-driven like the Necros, but often with a weird tempo or time-change. -KFTH Site (Touch & Go)
